A guided hike and a sunrise hike are included in Örglwirt’s services for your holiday stay (according to the weekly program). The Santner family enjoys telling the many stories about Mariapfarr and the Lungau on hikes. Walking sticks and hiking backpacks are available for use free of charge at the hotel.

Hiking opportunities to mountain lakes
Walking time approx. 45 minutes / easy
Visit this beautiful alpine moor lake at 1,514 m above sea level, easily accessible by car or the valley bus from Tamsweg. A picturesque circular route takes you in around 45 minutes through the unique moorland landscape around the lake.
Walking time approx. 1.5 hours / moderately difficult
The starting point is the rear Weißpriachtal (easily accessible by car or valley bus). You cross the Longa via forest paths, past farmed huts and the roaring waterfall. Follow the marked hiking trail to the managed Tonimörtlhütte. The Wirpitschsee (1,699 m) has been reached. After about 150 meters in altitude you reach the Tiefenbachsee at 1,846 meters above sea level on well-trodden alpine paths.
