Mountain railways in summer
The Grosseckbahn mountain lift in Mauterndorf and the Sonnenbahn mountain lift in St. Michael (wheelchair and stroller accessible) as well as the Grünwaldkopfbahn mountain lift in Obertauern and the Aineckbahn mountain lift in Katschberg will bring you to the top of the mountains.
A guided hike and a sunrise hike are included in Örglwirt’s services for your holiday stay (according to the weekly program). The Santner family enjoys telling the many stories about Mariapfarr and the Lungau on hikes. Walking sticks and hiking backpacks are available for use free of charge at the hotel.
